This must be the 5 part special mentioned in the Peter Lloyd interview.
The interview was last year. Didn't we see something else in five parts?
The interview was May 15th. There was the five eps with Shakespeare related titles (possibly all from Romeo and Juliet if I remember correctly) but that does not really tie in with what was said in the interview which was And watch out for another five-part story, this time based around the Hollins family, two wedding proposals and a rather nasty car crash.
The another part implies to me that Shakespeare thing was the first and this the second. This was probably in the planning stage at the time of the interview.
In all fairness though a lot of the interview stuff happened a fair time after the interview such as Cherry's perfect man and I presume Jimmi's kidnap is the bit about his worse fear.

The BBC has announced a five-part Doctors special to air in January.
The daytime medical drama will tackle a week-long storyline called 'Master Of The Universe', which features Lewis Cutler, a fellow student and friend of Doctors regular Jack Hollins, becoming entangled in a hostage and shoot-out situation at Letherbridge University.
The plot, which kicks off on January 25, features Alexander Vlahos as Lewis. Other guest stars include Steffan Rhodri, Tom Kane and Rebecca Ryan.
Doctors continues weekdays at 1.45pm on BBC One.

Hi there...I used to be a member here as Daisy....I had big problems with my laptop some months ago..ending up with having a new one..so lost all my bookmarks & favourites...I have just remembered this site & tried to remember my details...couldnt remember which email address I used..I know that one of them no longer exists..anyway here I am with a different name.Shame to have to start again (unless you can tell me which email address I used Katrina) as I had over 700 posts.
Looking forward to my favourite daytime drama starting again next week.
I will have a look and PM you the old address. If you want I could possibly change it over to a new one for you if need be.
Wouldn't it be nice if they came back temporarily? Just to wish everyone a happy new year? There could be a chance meeting with Vivien at the airport and all would then go to the Mill.

Hello!
I found this board on Google. It looks like a fun place, so I thought I'd say hello. I haven't been watching Doctors very long, I wandered in during the tail end of the Ruth/Michelle story, and keep coming back to the show, watching more regularly over the last 3 months or so.
I'm not au fait with some of the older characters everyone here seems to love, I saw George and Ronnie and Vivien leave but wasn't so familiar with them as you hardcore fans. So it might be interesting for you to hear the views of a newer viewer. Because I have nothing really to compare them to, I think the current cast are great!
Maybe I'll post more when the series starts up again, but the posts I've been reading are very interesting anyway.
