Silly storyline, not worth the effort. but the rest was good, I loved the bit where Zara allowed herself to be comforted by Ruth...lovely!!

Julia makes herself more unpleasant every day.

I am still finding Karen incredibly annoying - all those personal phone calls, where she talks so loudly, in front of patients surely would not happen in reality. And she's always ringing her husband when he's on duty. The Ruth/Zara bit was the best, but I think Zara is being a bit OTT - I had a very premature menopause (in my teens) & although it was grim, I never behaved how Zara did.

The main storyline was a bit silly but the Ruth/Zara bit more than made up for it. I have to say that I do get a bit irritated with the way the menopause is portrayed. Yes, it can make you emotional, yes, you do have hot flushes but it all seems a bit over the top with Zara. Any of you on this board that haven't been through it - it's not that bad!!

I think Zara is just a rather damaged person who would get just as angry and emotional if she had an ingrowing toenail! I think she's a fantastic character though, and it's lovely seeing her pair up with Ruth - I wonder where that's going...

A most irritating episode with a ridiculous main story line. Does Karen actually do any work and do policeman really take phone calls from their wives in the middle of arresting criminals! Script writers please get a grip. So Cherry as now met Scott's colleagues, I'm sure that we now all know what kind of colleagues they really are. As for Zara - take a chill pill girl :)

I thought the same. He would certaintly not turn his back on the person like he did. Hate the Sweeney ring tone as well!
