I don't want Joe to die, he is probably my second favourite character next to Nick... but I agree that I can see where this is probably going! Then again, would it be too much to cling onto the fact that the good old writers may just be out to trick and fool us into believing Joe will die, and then have it turn out to be something completely different to what we're all dredding?

I'm puzzled. Where does it say in the spoilers that Joe is going to die? Are you all thinking he has a brain tumour because of his headache?
I once thought I had one because I had headaches that wouldn't go away. It turned out I'd joined the gym without an induction and put the treadmill uphill at a fast pace. I hung on for 20 mins nearly every day for 12 weeks. I had an MRI scan and everything.

awwww that sounds bad. I had a really bad headache once seriously felt my head would explode lasted about 3 days and me and my mum ended up in some hospital in liverpool for like 8 hours Lots of tests and blood tests and stuff no scans from what i remeber turned out that was stress. Then i got back and watched casualty. I think thats irony or maybe not. He might not die, I hope he doesn't, but he wants to be written out compleatley so he either decides the stress is to much and moves to america permanently or hes going to die. I think i'm going with the latter.

Joe is one of these characters who was so likeable, and his awkwardness was so funny!
One of my funniest Doctors moments was when Joe and that woman who ran the cooking classes ended up back at the Mill and Joe was running around with his trousers down looking for a condom when Michelle walked in - priceless!

I've just found out what really did happen to Dr Joe Fenton... he switched to a career in espionage as he turned up as a British spy (a.k.a Stephen Boxer!) looking for revenge in tonight's episode of Spooks! His spell as a Shakespearean actor must have been just a smokescreen for his undercover work! Unfortunately it meant that he had gone from saving lives to taking them - and he also met with a rather unpleasant end himself. (Still, it was good to see Stephen Boxer on the TV again).
PS. There was obviously something in his former life that he couldn't bear leaving behind - I'm sure he was still wearing Joe Fenton's green barbour jacket!

Awww...do u remember how lovely Joe was? He was like a pair of comfy slippers. His storylines weren't cliff hangers (like Nick's ) lol but it was nice to have him well...just there. A bit like with Jimmi now.
