sorry i haven't posted any fics in ages, i honestly haven't forgotten, i've just been ill recently. anyway i found this part on my laptop and decided to post it. i've nearly finished LHS.
Part 11
It was only about half an hour later that the minivan and the cars pulled in to the car park of the adventure park. The cheers of the pupils almost burst poor Mr McGuire’s eardrums. The second he parked, the doors flew open, and a tramped occurred as everyone tried to get off at once, resulting it a few scratches and bruises. But ten minutes later, everyone was inside the park. Mrs Hazel and Mr Wilkes rattled off instructions of where the adults would be situated in case of emergency and all the other information that only one pupil paid attention to.
Jude grabbed hold of Georgina and Helen’s arms and began to pull them towards the water slides. Her long dark hair flying out behind her as she sprinted, at times almost pulling Helen and Georgina over. Behind them Ronald followed. Helen practically fainted when she saw the waterslides, each one was a lot higher than she’d expected and they didn’t seem relaxing like the rides she preferred to go on.
“George, want to go on with me?” Ronald asked breathlessly, Georgina nodded happily and the two linked arms and started the hike up the hill to the entrances to the rides; Helen closed her eyes in anticipation of what was going to come next. Jude grabbed at Helen’s arm and pulled
“Come on” Helen rolled her eyes but allowed herself to be led. A few seconds later, they stopped; they were at the start of the lowest water slide. Jude grinned cheekily
“I said we’d beat those two down and they didn’t believe me” Helen breathed a sigh of relief. The smaller slide didn’t seem as terrifying.

Carolina and David stood in a small alcove by the side of the animal house, Sarah and Tasha had gone inside but they had wanted to stay out, together but Carolina was unaware of the bet David had with his friends, or that David was in fact older than herself. No Carolina didn’t have any idea, but she would. In fact at that very minute Sarah and Tasha were finding out the truth, but would they be in time?

part 12
Tasha and Sarah looked at each other, bug eyed and with mouths formed in ‘oh’ shapes, William’s words swirling around their brains. Each time they heard it, it sounded worse and worse. Sarah was the first to regain her senses, she felt sick to her stomach as she thought about Carolina. A few seconds later, Tasha felt exactly as Sarah did.
“Got to get to Carolina” Sarah said breathlessly, grabbing Tasha’s arm and breaking in to a jog. Tasha quickly matched her friend’s pace, both to save herself from falling on the cracked stone floor and to get to her other friend in time. The short run from one end of the animal house to the other seemed to take a lifetime; the shout of a worker telling them not to run in front of the animals fell on deaf ears. As the two finally stepped in to the bright sunlight of the outside, one sound did make it to their ears – the sound of crying.
Georgina scowled when she saw that Helen and Jude were already at the bottom of the waterslides, she’d been positive that they’d win, but when she saw Jude cheekily pointing towards the ‘junior’ waterslide, Ronald had to grab her, to stop Georgina running at Jude and giving her a fat lip.
“well you didn’t set any rules did you” Jude said in a sing-song voice that made Georgina a lot angrier, so much so that Ronald was having trouble restraining her, Helen started looking worried at this. Nobody noticed Samantha appear
“Stop it, we have a major problem!” she shouted, everyone turned to her but Ronald didn’t allow his grip on Georgina to loosen
“What is it?” Helen asked nervously.
“It’s a long story. But I heard from Eleanora who heard from Holly who heard from William, that Carolina’s with David” Samantha reeled, Georgina looked bored and Samantha sent her a dark look
“But David is 17. The second El told me, I remembered. I heard Liam or Patrick mention him once, strange to think that for once my idiot brothers told me something useful”
“Sam, get on with telling us about David. You’ve moaned about Liam and Patrick to us a billion-zillion times” Helen said, her voice shaking slightly with worry.
“David was held back a couple of years” at this Ronald let go of Georgina in shock but she didn’t run at Jude she just stood there in shock. Helen’s lower lip was trembling in fear.
“we’ve got to find Carolina” they said in unison, before running off together in the direction of the animal house, remembering Carolina’s passion for animals. All of them united in fear, unsure of what would greet them when they found Carolina. At the thought of what they would find, Georgina gripped Ronald’s hand a little bit tighter, terrified about what they would find when they got there.

this is the final part of LHS! so the next part will be PAL.
part 13
The atmosphere on the run to the animal house was tense to say the least, with a wrong turn causing a frost between Helen and Georgina. The closer they got the louder the sound of crying became but not one could recall later, whether the crying was real or just imagination. When they finally got there, they found Tasha sat on the grass, her knees drawn up to her chest and her eyes red rimmed. She looked up at the older teens, opening her mouth but failing to get more than a squeak. Helen knelt down in front of her, and gently moved a stray piece of hair away from girl’s face; such kindness caused another torrent of tears.
“Tash, I know this is hard, but you have to tell us” Helen said softly, looking as directly in to Tasha’s eyes as she could. Tasha wiped her eyes and looked away towards the alcove; she took in a deep shaky breath
“They did it” she said, her voice trembling and shaking. A gap of agonising seconds between each word. Helen’s own eyes filled with tears, as did the eyes of those who stood behind her, now joined by Faith who had run in to them along the way. A blond head peeped out from the hedge around the alcove, she eyes just as red as Tasha’s, her hands shook, her legs felt as if they were like jelly, she doubt that they could hold her up for much longer. The elder teens, bar Helen who was comforting Tasha, stepped towards her and saw in to the alcove, where Carolina sat on the muddy ground, her eyes rimmed red, her nose runny and her face tear tracked. She wasn’t looking at anything or anyone, she was lost in herself. Ronald stepped away enabled to watch anymore, he knelt next to Helen and Tasha. Helen was looking just as upset as Tasha was and Ronald felt his heart go out to her, he gently placed an arm around her shoulder and drew her body close to his. Tasha had since turned and was watching the rest of the group, feeling utterly useless.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The rest of the trip dragged on for what seemed like days, until finally it was time to make the way back to the bus. The group were both happy to be going home but dreading the journey home, especially given they had to sit in the same enclosed environment as David when all of the older ones were having murderous thoughts about him. Still, with an amazing amount of care, the rest of the group helped Carolina back to the minivan, hoping that nobody would know something was so drastically wrong. Something they were all certain on was – everything was different now and whether they liked it or not, they were in it together.
Part 1
The journey back from the trip was pretty uneventful although Jude had to be restrained by Ronald and Helen for the vast majority of the journey as she kept trying to lunge for David, and although part of them wanted to let her do whatever she had planned, the part that won out knew that it wouldn’t be right especially given they presumed that Jude could do a lot of damage if she set her mind to it, and currently her fists were clenched and her eyes were fixed and looked rather scary. On the back seat Georgina and Faith sat with Sarah, Tasha and Carolina although Georgina had taken a lot of coaxing – she’d wanted to help Ronald with Jude but for some reason he’d chosen Helen over her.
The day after the trip was a Saturday and so the group met up at Georgina’s as she had the most freedom and they knew that her parents wouldn’t bother to disturb them. Carolina was still withdrawn and barely talking, which worried the group as they didn’t want anyone else to know that anything was wrong. Jude was still looking as if she could end up hunting David down and the rest were quieter than they had been in years even Georgina who was famed for being able to chat for England – she’d won gold in chatting at the school Olympics last year. The atmosphere was extremely tense – when every someone wanted to talk they couldn’t out of fear it would somehow upset Carolina. Helen had arrived with a hefty rucksack which she usually used to haul her school stuff around, but today it was filled with the strangest stuff from food to party bags. As she began unloading it, she’d received some very strange looks,
“Mum thought it’d be a good idea because Lou wanted one the other day” Helen rolled her eyes and for once had the expression of a teenager rather than her normal ‘mini-adult’ impression. Laughs sounded like music around the room, from all but Carolina. As she started passing the food around Helen had a thought about whether or not they all really could handle this but a look at her friends made her realize that they had no choice.
