New doctor Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis-Morgan) causes a stir with his flash car, flashy lifestyle and flashier girlfriends and even Sarah (the award winning Andrea Green) is taken in. But there’s more to Jimmi than meets the eye.

An old friend of Julia’s (Diane Keen) makes a plea for help, but as Mac (Christopher Timothy) realises there is a raging alcoholic in his life – and in his house - he starts to panic that his own addiction may return. And then there’s a startling revelation from the past which causes a rift between him and Julia.

Further down the line in the autumn season...

A shadow from Helen's (Corrinne Wicks) past threatens to throw her life upside down once again. Greg (Ben Jones) becomes embroiled in a series of bizarre assaults on businessmen and ends up face to face with ‘The Mantis’

George’s (Stirling Gallacher) pregnancy becomes more and more difficult and her marriage is threatened by an outside source.

Now in its sixth year, Doctors has been nominated for a BAFTA three times and has won two British Soap Awards. Doctors averages 190 episodes a year and regularly attracts over 2.5million viewers each weekday.

The series is set in a fictional town, located on the outskirts of Birmingham. It follows the continuing stories of the staff and their patients at the Mill Health Centre
