Jimmi has an appointment with his OCD therapist. He is in denial, somewhat, about the severity of his symptoms but with his therapist’s help he is able to acknowledge it and work through his issues.
Jimmi has an appointment with his OCD therapist. He lies and says he hasn’t had an episode for a while – his coping techniques are working and he’s optimistic that the condition is going to improve.
The therapist doesn’t believe this, but rather than openly confronting him, talks to Jimmi about what’s happened in his personal life recently. Jimmi realises the therapist is on to him and is forced to confront the fact that his episodes have got worse. The therapist helps him to understand why this has happened and wants to know why Jimmi lied?
Jimmi has to admit that he’s falling into the old habit of denial, something he spent years digging himself out of. He reveals that he’s desperate to ‘be normal’ and is trying to ignore his episodes. The realisation is that he may never shake off the OCD completely and he must accept that before he can move on. (At some point, he should also mention that there is someone ‘special’ in his life).
Meanwhile, Sarah and Nick uncover a secret love triangle when an aerobics instructor and her daughter spend an afternoon in bed.

Rico makes an appointment to see George at the Mill, and asks Sarah not to tell Greg as he knows how much Tom's illness affected him. Sarah struggles to keep Greg from finding out, as Rico tells George he thinks he has lung disease. George does some tests and reassures a relieved Rico that he just has a harmless infection, but before he can leave the Mill, Greg finds out about the appointment.
Greg gatecrashes the consultation, at first scared, then furious no one told him. Once Greg has calmed down, Rico explains that he just didn't want to scare Greg after what happened with Tom, and they make up. They agree to have fun and make the most of each day together, but Rico's expression suggests there's still something he's hiding...
Nick and Elizabeth are still playing games, but Sarah has had enough when Nick suggests an outing clearly to make Elizabeth jealous. She tells him to leave her out of it, to Elizabeth's amusement, and Jimmi overhears and asks Sarah out instead, but is also knocked back.
Meanwhile, While having lunch in Birmingham, Julia spots Lee Graham, the gym instructor who conned her out of 20 grand, having lunch with his new girlfriend and obvious mark. Julia eventually convinces Joanne of Lee's motives, although Joanne reveals this is more than a business con for her - she is pregnant with Lee's baby. They join forces to trap Lee, with Mac's help. Lee is caught by the police, leaving Joanna determined to make the most of bringing up the baby alone.

Elizabeth asks Sarah to remind Nick about a case review in her room. When Nick arrives, he realises it was a scam, and is shocked when Elizabeth presents him with 2 tickets to Prague. Nick takes some persuading after recent events, and Elizabeth clearly finds it difficult to show her vulnerable side, but refuses to elaborate on why - eventually Nick agrees and they kiss passionately.
Sarah apologies to Greg for keeping Rico's appointment a secret, but Greg is in a great mood as he and Rico have made up and are going to Brighton for the weekend. At a Brighton restaurant, they are having a great time until Rico breaks the news that his visa runs out in 3 months and he has no choice but to leave the country.
Meanwhile, George and Ronnie are having some minor work done on their house. Roofer Oz admits to Ronnie that he's worried about his heavily pregnant but still small and tired wife Annie, who refuses to stop working on the stained and leaded glass she has been commissioned to produce by a demanding client. Annie is clearly worried about money and is saving for when the baby is born, but Oz is much more laid back and just looking forward to the birth.
George is concerned about Annie's contact with lead, and after being confronted, Annie admits she has missed her hospital appointments due to work pressures. George diagnoses possible lead poisoning and gets her straight to St Phils where doctors confirm that the baby may be severely underdeveloped. When Annie's demanding client phones again to chase up his order, Oz tells him where to go and promises to support and love Annie and the baby whatever happens.
