 I can still hardly beleive the news since i heard it.I know as the days were pass hope had been dwindleing,but were still prayer he had just taken some time out alone,to try to come to terms with it all. So awfully sad, i have been watching sMart for years,got my mam to tape it when i was in college, work ect.Mark's whole aproach to art was so amazing and simple that you apply them to any classroom. 3D perspective had baffled me for a long while till i seen Mark do it,inspiring  He will never be forgotten Margaret xxx God Bless

Mark was an amazing artist and presenter who made an amazing connection to his audience and his death is extermely sad. But I must admit I was not surprised by the news, the moment I heard he'd quit SMart I had this feeling about what was going to happen.
I'd never been the biggest art fan nor am I much of an artist but I did enjoy watching SMart especially the big art works that were done at the end of the show.

I loved watching him on Smarteenies on CBeebies. Out of the four presenters he was by far my favourite (watched it with grandson Reuben!).

Like you Katrina, when I heard he had resigned from his job I thought then that something might happen, then when it was reported he was missing I just knew that it wasn't going to be a happy ending.
I didn't really watch SMart very often, but he was one of the childrens presneters that always stood out, so I knew who he was was the story first came out about the death of his girlfriend.
Sad.

I didn't really know who his girlfriend was,but she was really beautiful such a shame.I really loved the way they used so many different types of media not just drawing and painting.Never liked that new guy Mike that started lasy year,always had to turn dowm the volume when he was on.NOW HE IS GOIN TO REPLACE MARK! Crazy should just leave it to Kristen much better
