;)Who saw the finale of Doctor Who last night and if you did what did you think of it?
I was amazed I felt it was a brilliant episode, I felt it was great how they got the Torchwood team and the Sarah Jane adventures team all in the last two parter finale along with Mickey and Jackie coming back in last night's episode.
I liked the fact Rose has her own doctor to grow old with in the parallel universe. I felt it was quite sad with Donna though.

I thought that it was ok but disliked the Tardis pulling the earth back to the correct position. I am now wondering whether Mickey and Martha may become part of Torchwood since they need people to replace Tosh and Owen.
I am also glad that Rose finally got with the Doctor as he did love her.
I wonder who will be the next companion for the Doctor?

Overall it was good but the towing of planet Earth by the Tardis was a bit silly. Very sad to see Donna go. I wasn't keen on her at first but she's really grown on me. Loved her with Captain Jack!!

I loved it (apart from the Tardis pulling the earth, it looked daft). The bit where Rose was left with a 'Doctor' was very touching, & a lovely romantic way to end that storyline. And I'll miss Donna, having really liked her from when she first appeared. We've a long wait to find out who replaces her.
I just wish I'd been able to get tickets to see David Tennant in Hamlet.

I loved it, can't believe Donna has gone now, so sad, she was the best assistant so far, closely followed by Rose. Donna had some great vocab, loved her.

I thought it was brilliant! I am a huge fan of John Barrowman so every episode Captain Jack is in is a real treat as far as I'm concerned! I was quite depressed though that after all they did together Donna had to forget the Doctor and all that he showed her in order to live! Why does it never have a happy ending for the Doctor and his companions? Brilliant to see the Darleks and Davros!!!!! Sooooo exiting! But I think that they could have made more of Rose's reaction when Jack got shot by the Darleks! In season 1 she would have been devistated to see Jack killed, she just seemed mildly upset when it happened on Saturday, and as far as I'm concerned she didn't put up enough of a fight when the Doctor pulled her away, and as far as I'm concerned didn't seem surprised or delighted enough to see that Jack wasn't dead afterall! I just think as somebody who has been looking forward to Jack and Rose being reunited for the past 3 seasons they could have made more of the situation, and I was somewhat dissappointed! For example Rose didn't even seem to notice Jack when he first returned! To me that simply doesn't ring true... especially in light of Jack's reaction in season 3 when HE found out that Rose was alive, and their close relationship during season 1! Overall a good episode though... just spoilt slighty by the down play of the character's relationships!
