There was a report on the ISA on This Morning. Not a word about Doctors. Not an image either. Was the cast absent because they know that they hardly get any awards ? If so, I don't blame them. It should be so frustrating...

It's such a shame that Doctors isn't given more coverage on things like that, they always focus on the bigger soaps and forget about it, which is very annoying. I just really hope that the storyline with Vivien gets the recognition it deserves.

I think Doctors is classed in the "Drama" section and not soaps. I am sure it is with Holby etc.

It was a big swizz they didn't win anything. Though it's a bit confusing re what type of prog it is classified as - on BBCi it's a Drama isn't it? Yet sometimes it's called a soap. i think it's better than a soap & if it was just classed as a drama it might stand more chance of winning a well deserved award sometime.

Yeah! it's the Same With Casualty. Sometimes it's a Drama then a Soap. Doctors Is a Drama but put in with the Soap awards Sometimes.

According to the ISAs Doctors is a drama and that is what is generaly considered to be although BSAs count it as a soap. I also believe a lot of the TV guides list it as a soap as they include that weeks info with the other soaps whereas Holby City and Casualty are generally on a page with The Bill and considered as dramas. I tend to describe Doctors as being a 'daytime medical soap drama' just to cover all of the bases
