Just reading through the Ds spoilers and on the episode Past Imperfect airing March 20th is this spoiler:
Later in the staff room, everyone wonders what has got into Vivien. Julia and Jimmi exchange looks and bring out champagne as Vivien walks in shyly. Julia announces Vivien’s move to Bermuda with Lionel. Everyone congratulates her. She gives Jimmi her car and they all toast Vivien. She leaves in a taxi, saying a final goodbye to Julia through the window. She meets Lionel at the train station and they embrace; she finally lets herself feel happy and protected.
I am glad Vivien got her happy ending but I am sad that she is going because she is such a great character. I also feel a lot for Jimmi because he doesn't really have much left for him now - he's lost Vivien who he is closest too and Eva.

Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I cursed or what? First Nick, now Vivien. My favourite two gone in less than six months. I feared it would be Vivien going as the temp is so close to Vivien. Docs couldn't keep two characters so much alike, could they? I'm so sad that she's going. She is a brilliant character. Or should I say 'was'? After Nick's death, I kept on watching Docs for Vivien. What now? It could really be the end of Docs for me. I'll miss Vivien.

Nooooooooooooooooooo from me too. I haven't watched Doctors for ages (only once or twice this year), & now Vivien is going another big hole will be left, as she is a very powerful & interesting character. But I suppose after the huge rape stortline, creating another big storyline would be very difficult, if you wanted to keep it credible. Joe, Nick, Vivien....lets hope no more characters go.

When you think back though, all the receptionists however good or liked they were only lasted about 2 years. There was Carolina, Katrina, Debbie, that busybody woman, Donna, Sarah........It's a kind of transient role. The change in receptionists all bring new storylines to the show and they all form different kinds of relationships wtith the Doctors. Shame to lose Anita though. She was the best! I wish they'd make the nurse role a transient one instead.
Ooops! I think I must be turning into Lara. This is just like a Lara post. ;D

First Nick, now Vivien. My favourite two gone in less than six months. Surely you like Heston and Lily? They are great, especially Heston.

Surely you like Heston and Lily? They are great, especially Heston. Err...no, I don't. Even if Owen can speak French with a good accent.

Not surprised - as soon as I saw the reappearance of Lionel I guessed this would happen. A great character who will be sorely missed. Have to say that so far I'm not keen on the new receptionist - didn't like her in Holby so maybe I'm biased. Wonder if George and Ronnie will go. Anyway, the series has survived the loss of many main characters so I expect we will get used to any new ones. I wish Michelle would go! Heston has grown on me and I really like Lily now.

Ooops! This is just like a Lara post. ;D I'll take that as a compliment Lg ! Oh dear, I'm really sorry that Vivien is leaving . She has been an excellent character and asset for Doctors and will be sorely missed. It looks as though they have got a good leaving story line for her too. Lily helped her over the next hurdle after the court case with the diary writing and then Lionel reappears. So it's very plausible and for that I'm really pleased. She deserved a good exit. Whatever Anita does in the future I wish her well . Poor Jimmi though . I just wonder what will happen with him now. He's lost the love of his life and now he's lost a good friend. Lets hope he gets a new love interest soon to take his mind off things! I think one of the the greatest compliments to Anita for her time in Doctors would be for the BSA panel to award her The Most Dramatic Performance or whatever they call it for her rape scenes. That would be the icing on the cake .
