Michael McKell in Freight

OK, this is a bit weird, but I'm fairly sure I've seen Michael McKell in a trailer for a new film...but he isn't listed in the cast list, so perhaps I'm mistaken.

The film is 'Freight'...and it does feature both Matt Kennard (Archie) and his brother Sam, and you can see the trailer if you go to -

You do have to sign in to see the trailer. As it has got a naughty word in it! And I'm fairly sure that at approximately 55 seconds in, we see the chiselled face of Michael McKell himself...or is it just someone who looks like him? Could someone have a look and confirm. If it is Michael McKell, you should have a chance to see him on the big screen fairly soon as the film is officially released this month.

It is Michael. The film is listed on his agency page and his character is called Stevie.

Yup, that's him. ;D The last time I had a look on the Freight page on Facebook, the film was to be released in 2010.

Oh thanks! He's not listed on the IMDB page for the film, which is what confused me...

The IMDB page lists the release date as December 2009. But that possibly just means that it's now completed and is looking for a distributor. I really hope it finds one as so many British films just disappear without trace, but this looks really good, and obviously has a fantastic cast.
