and the others were more of a bore than a laugh...

i really didn't like the winning one. the ones i wanted to win were numbers 3 and 11, not sure which counteries they are though. the uk one did pretty badly but that was to be expected  |

I have to say I never watched this year..but it has got to be a big joke now..for a start half the countries arent european & the voting is all political...I think the main countries that put up the most money..who this year were in the bottom of the voting should pull out & then we should see what happens.
I remember when I was small it being the big highlight of the music year..used to look forward to it...

how do you define "europian"?
all the countries but israel are from europe the continent!
and we tend to think ourselves as part of europe for so many years now that it turned out to be everybody else believes us. how i wish i could also have a europian passport...
anyway, this competition is arranged by the europian broadcasting organisation and israel is a member there too.

i think we should change it to Worldvision song contest, it would mean more counteries and more amusment (and more cringy songs)

are you nuts?! even like that they had to have two nights to hear all the horrible songs and they had to use semi final stuff...
no way!!!
i'd like that if there was any chance of hearing something new, but as is you could take 5 countries and it would represent quite well all five types of horrible songs there are.
1.ethno-dance - let's hear it for the drums
2. heartbreaking ballads - song of the siren style (keep a close care on your glasses)
3. abba here we come
4. i love rock'n'roll
5. someone told me to do this song but i just want to go home
don't you think?
it's fun, but sometimes enough is enough.
