Monday
Mystery at Moot Point.
Ruth is overjoyed when she meets the much-loved children's author Edie Markell, only to find a much-troubled relationship between Edie and her daughter, who is bitter at being the subject of her mother's most famous novels. Julia frets when Jimmi doesn't return after the Christmas break, and targets Daniel, who surely must know where he is.
Tuesday
Swansong.
As two men in their seventies compete over the affections of a widow, Julia's intervention only makes things more complicated as she becomes the unwitting target of their affections. Jimmi's absence becomes even more conspicuous to a worried Julia, and the new locum, Charlie, causes quite a stir on his first day at The Mill.
Wednesday
The Standstill.
Lily faces a race to get to the church in time when she offers to help a patient, but are there ulterior motives at play? Daniel is tempted back to his old ways when he turns to a blast from the past for help with a specialist case.
Thursday
Swansong.
Michelle's mum makes a surprise visit to The Mill after having tests at St Phil's. Michelle is worried sick for her, but Vera is more concerned about her friend Carla. Julia asks for Rob's help to find Jimmi, while Jimmi attempts to get his phone from Sissy.
Friday
Basting The Turkey.
Charlie has a challenge on his hands when he endeavours to convince a lesbian to sleep with a man in order to get pregnant. Sissy and Ivor struggle to send a message to Julia and Daniel from Jimmi's phone; while they're distracted, Jimmi has a chance to escape.
~
Nice to see Michelle's mum back in the show and they've kept the same actress Dona Croll.
