Great! We had a blizzard on Thrusday evening. Since then, major roads have been gritted (and my car too ). Elsewhere it's all snow and ice! The car skidded earlier today, which is a strange sensation. And the pavements are extremely dangerous; it's actually safer to walk on the road. ;D

We had loads of snow Thursday evening onwards. It's still hasn't got above -1 here . The main roads are gritted but where we live the road is like a skating rink and the paths are quite treacherous too! Wish they invented something to keep your feet warm when wearing wellies 'cos socks don't regardless of how many pairs you have on! .

We've had a few snow showers but nothing major I'm hoping for a white Birthday as opposed to Christmas.

We have a few light snow showers on Thursday, enough to cover the road, then a couple of nights of severe frost. Today, when we thought it was melting, we got heavier snow for an hour, so it's a couple of inches where we live. Our road is on a hill - we're at the top - so it's rather slippy, especially coming up the hill. And we haven't even got a grit bin near us. I wanted to make a snowman this afternoon, but it was just too cold. And as I've still got some Christmas shopping to do, I hope it melts soon.

We got about 2 inches of snow on Thursday night. Some of it melted but it's been covered by heavy frosts and some froze into ice. Walking is not easy!! Unfortunately we live in a little close and the gritting lorries don't bother to come her so the road here is pretty slippery. I haven't seen grit bins in this area for years babyduck!!

It snowed even more last night we think we have around 7 inches of snow! Schools are shut but the roads are open but dangerous.
