Agreed. Suchet is the best Poirot ever and, for someone who doesn't speak French, his pronunciation is excellent.

Yes, definitely! Also, I think he gets everything else right - the whole look (ok so much is due to wardrobe/make-up) but the way he portrays Poirot, the mannerisms, etc. - just as I perceived him to be when I first read the Agatha Christie novels. Parfait!

He knows every tiny detail.

I read somewhere too that he wants to do all the Poirot stories, he must really enjoy playing the part.
