seeing as the 20th aniversery episode and the celebratary show was on at the time when Doctors should have been on i thought i'd start a topic on it.

most of the characters who appeared in the Doco i'd never seen before but it was cool.

so what's the point? i think she's the greatest star who ever came out of this show.
who were the celebs you saw? (don't give me the characters' names as i haven't watched it... we don't have it here. just the actors' names)

Kylie appeared in the follow up show that celebated 20 years but only on video - the wedding with Scott, then two extracts from music videos, I should be so lucky and a newer one. She did appear in the Ramsay street documentary featured in Neighbours but again only in wedding scene on video. Kat - a lot of the characters came from many years ago when I actually used to watch it (only watched yesterday because of the anniversary). You probably wouldn't know many of them as you are a little younger than me!!

i wouldn't know then either as i know only the pop stars, haven't seen the soap itself... was jason there too, pam? (i don't know their character names, forgive me... i just know that kylie and jason started there at the same time and became a couple in life... so they said, but jason is gay  .....) |

I enjoyed both of the shows...lovely to catch up with some of the old cast members. I have watched since the beginning & remember Paul coming through the door in his nappy!  Think its been great storylines just lately especially the Karl,Izzy & Susan triangle...loved it when Susan put out the rubbish then wiped her hands whilst looking at Izzy. |

Forgot Iris - Natalie Imbrulgia also featured in the follow up show! Daisy I remember the opening episode but for the life of me I don't remember Danny Ramsay! Senior moment or what. Haven't watched the show for a few years as it's not on at the best time for me. I have seen the last 5 or ten minutes recently as I put tv on in readiness for Docs, so I saw the scene with Susan. Nice one!

right! natalie imbruglia! forgot her...
but she's nothing more than a singing doll pretending to be a rockstar with an attitude...she is a model too, as far as i remember, and that career suits her better.
don't get me wrong, i love pop. but you have to be very serious to be a real pop star and look easy going. she's just not the type. and kylie, changing musical preferences along the years, adapting herself to the everchanging scene of rock/pop has managed to recreate herself from a producers' puppet to an independent persona who chooses to work with the hottest names - and they just say yes. not to mention her fight with breast cancer, but that's a different topic. anyway, for me, kylie is the greatest star who came out of neighbours.
