Danny Ramsey had a brother called Shane & their parents were Max & Maria(I think)..he was shown in the original credits at the beginning of each show riding a bike..cant remember much else about him except he doesnt look a bit like he used to.

jason donovan, another teen pop idol. back then in the early 90's he had lots of cheesy love songs. a very famous one is "especially for you" - a duet he performed with kylie...
once he sued "the sun" because they wrote that he wasn't a natural blonde and that he used lemon juice to bleech his hair... (at that time it wasn't common for men to look after their looks and it automatically suggested that he was gay - as if straight men don't care for their looks...) anyway, "the sun" published he was gay too and had to pay a lot of money to jason who, of course, denied that.
later he stared the musical about josef (can't remember the exact name - pam peobably knows that) and i think he's still on west end somewhere (ermm...and he is gay...).

He was in Joseph and the Amazing technicoloured Dreamcoat (as Joseph). Think he still tours in that occasionally. I thought he was married but I may be wrong!

thanx for the updated info. i must admit i last heard of him quite some time ago and not all the gossip comes our way, but i must also say on this issue that i've been thinking about what i've written earlier and wanted to make it clearer, so that's even a better opportunity to do so:
well, i didn't mean to say that only if he's gay he's ok, and i'm not one of those who go seeking for "signs" everywhere. i couldn't care less, you know, i'm straight friendly, most of my best friends and all that....
i definitely won't lie or twist facts just to make a point.
but
the way jason behaved when "the sun" "accused" him of being gay was very ugly, in my opinion. i don't say he shouldn't have denied, being something else, but by suing the tabloid he made a point that being gay is "wrong" and a negative thing and hence caused a lot of young gays who had problems with their self image feel bad about themselves. i think that it was enough to say something like "i am what i am, you're wrong about me but i don't care cause being gay is just as ok as being straight" - he'd still "clear" his name, but without hurting others. that's why when i heard he was gay i didn't stop to check the credibility of the info i got: because in a way, it just fit in- most of the closet gays are homophobic so it explained his reaction and looked reasonable. sorry for misleading you all.... but i hope you see my point of view about that.

that's Kylie? er no i didn't recognize her but i don't really listen to her music or anything.
