I enjoyed todays episode of the Afternoon Play: "The Last Will And Testament Of Billy Two-Sheds"In the play, a character was working for "Riley Lynch" Solicitors. Isn't that where Ronnie Woodson works!?

Missed the last 10 minutes as daughter, her husband, their son and some friends arrived back from holiday. I take it the law student boyfriend sorted it all out. What was the girl's final decision about the allotment?

The boyfriend sorted it all out! He found out there was some ancient agreement, regarding the allotments, dating back decades that would take years to sort out. So the allotments were safe for years to come.
"Grandad" told the girl that she could sit on his special seat now as he didn't need it anymore....then he disappeared.

I haven't watched these plays in the past but I've really enjoyed the two I've seen this week. Doubt I'll get to see todays but I'll certainly watch Thursday and Friday. Thanks Alan for telling me the end. One more question. Did they get to go to Glastonbury?

I'll answer you Pam..they didnt get to Glastonbury because of the meeting about the closing of the allotments...the boyfriend was going to go on his own but he got sacked when the boss(who he was going to ask to go with him) discovered he had found the loophole in the allotment agreement.

I enjoyed todays episode of the Afternoon Play: "The Last Will And Testament Of Billy Two-Sheds"In the play, a character was working for "Riley Lynch" Solicitors. Isn't that where Ronnie Woodson works!? the answer is yes, and no! yes, this is indeed the name of ronnie's working place. but apparently, the place itself is different. i re-watched today the epi that was broadcasted here (on BBC Prime) on thursday- "Damage" (was on BBC1 on the 3 nov). this epi was about a guy that was a beneficial in a will of someone he didn't even recognise his name and so on... anyway, some of the scenes included some shots of the entrance of Ronnie's office. the sign was exactly as in the picture you enclosed, alan. but the whole building and its doors were completely different! so it's kind of a "no" as well... i'm sorry i don't know how to make a screen cap of that (probably need a digital camera or similar...which i don't have) and i'm about to erase the tape anyway, (because no helen is this epi at all... ...trying to make the most of what's left of her appearances). so, you'll have to believe me. anyway, what's for sure, Riley Lynch make a lot of money out of wills...in both cases... ;D ...and BBC Birmingham didn't think there were viewers like us who notice that kind of things, so they didn't make a new sign for that play... could have worked out, i guess, if they wouldn't broadcast it on "Doctors" time slot anyway... ah well. love xx i

Thanks for that, Iris!
I noticed Will Trotter's name on the credits for some of the "Afternoon Plays" and have also seen his name on the credits for "Doctors" - perhaps using "Riley Lynch" was a bit of an "in-joke" which television companies seem to like sometimes!
Also would have saved them finding another fictitious name for a firm of solicitors!
