OK - Harry Potter and the goblet of fire is out! Thanks for the curtesy of my university we had a staff screening today (now, wouldn't you want to be working in a palce like that!). To cut a long story short - it is brillinat. Would love to share your thoughts about this movie/the previous ones/ the books.

There were scary bits, but also exciting ones as well as funny, touching, basically, i thought it had a very good balance.

I dont expect to see it on the big screen but will hopefully see the DVD when its released.
I finally finished the book this last week after just reading a chapter at a time...didnt want to finish it..really enjoyed it but it had a very sad ending.

Sad ending, but I think Rowling left space for optimisim.
Daisy, I urge you - do try to see it on big screen, it reaaly wprth the effort

Daisy, I urge you - do try to see it on big screen, its really worth the effort Will try..I know the special effects will be so much better on the big screen..but if I cant then we do have a 32'' TV with loads of speakers so it wont lose too much.
