Oh - is that why it's from the 11th and not the 21st when Wimbledon starts then? Hmmph. I must say I do enjoy the tennis (can't say the same for football, apologies ) but I hate that it has to be at the expense of Doctors. Depressingly I only finish my exams on the 10th June and then Doctors goes on hiatus the day after, just as it actually becomes acceptable to watch TV again. Sad times! Ha same, I can kinda cope with Doctors being pushed aside for Wimbledon but I'm pretty resentful of it for football, lol P.s. good luck with your exams those times were never my favourite :/ I'm *always* resentful of the football :L Aww, thank you! Can't wait 'til they're over, but even then it's back to school for one more year of hard graft... sigh.

I've only just caught up with all the Docs episodes for the past week or so and now we have the usual break. Silly me should have remembered shouldn't I! Oh well it suits me as I am off on holiday on Friday for a week and I love Wimbledon too. I'll also enjoy the World Cup - think I'm in the majority here on that one though!

Oh dear, I think I'm probably the only one who is looking forward to the World Cup! Being a woman and a football fan, I know I'm in a minority - only a few of my female friends like it as well. I grew up to love football, along with my dad and brother, though we supported different teams and I still love it even now. I am so excited about it all starting on Friday (and shall watch as many of the matches I can, not just the England ones).
Of course, that doesn't mean to say that I won't miss Doctors, because I will. Although at present I am having to watch it on iplayer anyway, usually late at night, catching up on a weekend, etc. I must say it's good to be able to download the episodes and watch them when you like - and watch them over again sometimes.

Don't worry, you're not the only one. Lara likes her footie too! She probably had a few when she wrote her message. lol ;D

Isn't Steve Hughes (one of Docs directors) working on Holby eps now? Ahh that could be the reason why then. Thanks Lg . I'll also enjoy the World Cup - think I'm in the majority here on that one though! Did you mean 'minority'? I agree on Wimbledon. Did you watch Roland Garros? I'm SO glad that Nadal won (and that you know who did not!). ;D Yes I did mean minority - my sincere apologies for using incorrect English Lp . Nice to see Nadal back to his best but I'm still a Federer fan although I don't dislike Nadal at all. They are both great tennis players . It's surprising when you've not been on here for a few days how much stuff there is to read through!

Great holiday thanks Lara. We've been to Padstow as my youngest son got married there last Friday (photos on Facebook for those interested). I'm watching last week's episodes this week and will watch this week's episodes next week! Not a great sport fan - hate fottball and not interested in tennis so my two week break from Doctors will be spent catching up on things I should have done instead of sitting in front of the box! It's a quarter end for me so I'll be doing VAT returns.

Yes, much as I enjoy the football I am already really missing Doctors! Thank goodness it's just for 3 weeks.
