What a shock that Gabby and Penny were in thr bottom 2. I expected it to be Kate or Kenny. I thought that Kates Samba was so funny, best laugh of the night as it was bad. A lot of the dancers made mistakes though.
Don't see why Brendan and Kelly got a ten from Bruno. I noticed that they had done 3 lifts before the judges mentioned it.

What a shock!! You could tell by everyone's reaction that nobody could believe that Gabby went out or that Gabby and Penny were in the bottom two! I thought that Kate would have gone out for sure - I think she even wanted to.
BTW - Graig wrote an article for the News of The World on Sunday and basically he tore everyone apart - except for John Cole maybe. I dont think he should be a judge anymore if he has such a low opinon of everybody on the show why does he want to be associated with it!!
Bruce is growing on me now - I thought he was on top form on Sat & Sun

I'm really shocked Gabby went.
I thought Kate would go. Anton seemed to have been dancing what he believed to be their last dance.
I don't think Kelly and Brendan should have been given a 10. He broke the rules and should have been penalized but all judges. He has been in all other series. I think there's a bias towards them.

I think many of us were shocked with Saturday's result. It was ludicrous for Gabby and Penny to be in the bottom two (and I'm not even that fond of Gabby!) The ten from Bruno for Kelly and Brendan was a big mistake when it was acknowledged that they broke the rules. Personally I liked Letitia's American Smooth better than Kelly's and I'm not a great fan of hers either!!

I wasn't really a great fan of Gabby's but had to admit she was a good dancer.
You're Gabb-in a laugh, Bruce! By EMMA COX Deputy TV Editor
FUMING Bruce Forsyth saw Strictly Come Dancing favourite Gabby Logan axed, then told voting viewers: “Next week, remember this is a dance contest.”
Bruce, whose comment was edited out, was furious at Gabby’s departure — and viewers keeping in hopeless dancers like Kate Garraway and Gabby’s hubby Kenny.
Viewers had made Gabby — 4/1 favourite to WIN the show with partner James Jordan — and Penny Lancaster and Ian Waite the last two pairs.
It meant judges had to choose between them and they decided to give Gabby, 34, the boot.
That was despite her having one of the best first-round judges’ scores of the night.
Judge Bruno Tonioli agreed with Bruce’s remark.
He said of the vote: “That was absolutely ridiculous. A fiasco.”
Last night Gabby said: “I’m old school: ‘the harder you practise the luckier you get’. So my exit was rather a shock.”
Fans bombarded The Sun with complaints last night.
Andrea Hayworth, 44, of Basingstoke, Hants, said: “Gabby was by far the best dancer. I think it’s an absolute disgrace.”
But a BBC insider said: “There’s always one shock result per series.”

Len slagged of the british public last night on ITT, he was quite rude about the audience saying that we should vote for the best dancers. He then said that the BBC should never of put him in the postition of having to choose.
Bruno stuck by his decision to award a ten. Craig reckons that he should have not have voted on Brendans dance and stated that they should have been disqualified. Too late now though!
It all seems to be getting out of hand!

I agree with you there, Michelle. It does all seems to be getting out of hand. I watched ITT last night and I was amazed at Len and Craigs comments about the public - what they have to remember is that its primarily about raising money for Children in Need and its the public not the judges that raise the money by voting. Do the judges get paid or donate their fees to Children in Need, I ask myself. Claudia was right when she said that its actually the judges comments about the poorer dancers that brings about the situation that we had on Sat - if they were nicer then we the public wouldnt feel like we had to vote for them!

Len was a little out of line on ITT last night. I do agree with him however the the voting system was better in previous years.
What confuses me though is I've heard quite a few people saying that the viewers have more control this year - but in fact the judges do.
