anyone watch it yesterday?? personally i thought it was very good - the links between the two were extremely clever e.g them sitting down with it saying '2 minutes to launch' then echo beach came on two minutes later. and the pink dress etc i really enjoyed it particularly becuase it's filmed in and aroud where i have been going on holiday for the last 17 years (i see cornwall as a second home now) and i recognise everywhere and i saw them filming it last year  Ben jones is also going to be in it not too far in the near future..can't wait! |

I quite enjoyed it, and think I prefer the Moving Wallpaper bit to Echo Beach. Not sure about Jason Donovan's english accent and noticed that he diverted between an aussie and english accent. This may be done on purpose. It takes me back to when I was 13 and loved Jason and had posters on my wall of him.
Noticed that the guy who played Steve in Doctors (sure he is called Mark Rawlings in real life) who was in it at the start was in it, got to be better than him doing those insurance adverts.

I have to say I am quite impressed.
If the scenery does the same for Echo Beach as it did for Doc Martin, this is a sure fire winner.
Both EB and MW can be viewed as independant programmes, but you miss a lot of the 'in' jokes if you do not watch MW first.
I think Ben Miller as the producer ( MW ) is hilarious.
I am still trying to work out what has happened to Jason Donovans's Aussie accent.!!
I believe the three places it's filmed in are Falmouth, Watergate Bay and Looe.
Funniest thing though has to be Johnny Briggs ( Mike Baldwin from Coronation Street ) trying to do a Cornish accent. ;D

Ben Jones was in this last night playing a doctor, he did not have much of a role. Even my hubby said "that's him from doctors"

The last episode of EB only got 1.9 million viewers, so it doesn't look like it will be re-commisioned which is sad.  |
