I'm really enjoying your updates and would definitely welcome an update!
Can I be annoying and ask a question? Is this set around the time in the show when Daniel and Zara were pretending to be a couple to Lisa just for access or is it kind of running along side the show now where Zara and Daniel have actually given a relationship a go? Sorry, I just heard what I'm asking and realised how pathetic I am!! lol.

I totally understand why that would be confusing - I first started writing it in the pre-relationship phase, so the honest answer is I'm not really sure. In my mind though it's before they've had any significant relationship, but have been aware of a chemistry between them. It's out-of-canon therefore I guess: Izzy's kidnapping never happened, Lisa and Daniel never got together, however it's up to date in the way that Mrs Tembe has arrived and Cherry and Jimmi are together. The moral of the story? Don't leave a fic lurking for several months while the show you've based it on is updating its storylines five days a week And I'm off to update now |

i love your fic, but its so sad the thought of Zara dying Well I'm going to focus more on what the diagnosis lets them do, rather than what it restricts them from doing. So it's going to be about making up for lost time, doing the things you always promise yourself that you'll do but never get around to. In that way, if Daniel and Zara find that they're left with less time than they should have then it'll be a bit more bearable because in many ways they'll have lived a whole lifetime together |
