Hi there

I've been lurking a while, but in my huge relief that Simon didn't die I've taken the plunge and joined the board.

I don't watch any other 'soaps' and actually only stumbled across Doctors by accident about a year and a half ago and was really impressed at the way they were handling a gay storyline, so kept watching. The way they treat fairly 'edgy' subjects in a mature way is one thing that has kept me watching.

The other reason I watch is I really like the characterisations, even if I don't 'like' all the characters themselves (if that makes sense!)

I look forward to chatting with you all!

(by the way, am I the only male on here lol)
