Can we please get rid of Mrs Tembe? She's the most annoying character ever, and that's saying something! No useful purpose is served, she annoys everyone including the patients and no practice would put up with her. PLEASE get rid

I quite like Mrs Tembe at times. She reminds me of EastEnders Dot. I wonder if Tembe will be like Vivien and Ruth who were quite unpopular to start with and yet became quite well like characters.

She seems to be modelled on Vivien but it won't work. Just like Karen and Rob are more or less a replacement of George and Ronnie (the only married couple, they separated because of a baby), Mrs Tembe seems to have lots of Vivien's traits (hard woman, very conscious of good manners and always telling off everyone). Bring Vivien back! ;D

I miss Vivian too, through I didn't like her at first!!!
Mrs T does seem to remind me of Vivian too at times, I did laugh today at her and Zara fighting over the food smell! Plus the queen episodes gave me a giggle so she's not all bad!

The Tembe (As I like to call her) Is EXTREMELY irritating, although she does provide good comedy

The jury is still out for me with the Tembe. Sometimes I don't mind her but at other times................................ Occasionally she can be quite amusing, at other times downright rude and I think she forgets that she is an employee not the boss. Overall, she probably isn't really doing it for me and if she left I really wouldn't care.

I love Mrs Tembe! She's mad as a box of frogs and the worst receptionist in the world ever, but as soon as she appears, I can't wait to hear what ridiculous thing she says next. She hero worships Heston, and because he's quite vain, he really indulges her - I love the banter they have, and I love the way she puts Julia in her place and seems to think that she is Julia's boss.
I hope she gets some serious storylines soon, as at the moment there have been lots of comedy plots and it would be nice to see a different side to her.

I have to agree with everything that you've said, and although she seems to be a terrible receptionist - she's a lot like most that I've experienced in my time: rude, abruptive and unhelpful - she's got it down to a tee. For me the reason I love her as a character so much is simply the comedic value that she brings, even though it's not clear to her that she's doing so. Ever since she came out with "I'll give you a three month trial" I knew that she was going to be a hoot! ;D

Yeah I do agree with all of you. I actually love her and hate her at the same time. I think she does bring comedic value especially with her and Zara which I find hilarious, but sometimes she does annoy me.
