Interesting. I see from the Radio Times that she is a lesbian so it all seems quite politically correct - one lesbian, one Asian.

Thanks for that link Lg. I've been out all day so not seen this before but I presume it was posted on Twitter. I'm really hoping these two characters will set the place alight again, it so needs it. I haven't watched Docs for the past two weeks due visiting family abroad, still haven't caught up with the two weeks of eps shown when I was away on holiday first of all in Feb/March and I have to say I haven't actually missed it!  Gone are the days when I would never have missed any episodes. No one has ever come near to being a replacement for George, Ronnie or Vivien or even the banter between Ronnie & Nick "fans". Without a doubt EDW is by far the best actress atm but she can't carry on by herself for evermore. Zara & Daniel will never get together and have probably never meant to be together either. The Woodsons or Vivien will never return and Docs just haven't managed to capture the magic again which those three showered Docs with. Such a shame but hopefully after seeing Lu Cornfield in CC's we will get some comedy and thought provoking episodes. I do hope so anyway. |

hopefully after seeing Lu Cornfield in CC's we will get some comedy and thought provoking episodes Agree Lara. Lu Corfield is already so likeable on Twitter. Funny how some mixes of characters gel and some don't. Can only improve things hopefully. I hope Jimmi finishes with Cherry soon. Looks like he's on his way out.  |

Looks like he's on his way out. Lu Corfield also looks very good in the shot's we've seen so far doesn't she. Got my fingers crossed that the two new Doctors are good for the show. Why haven't they replaced Nurse Michelle though. Both surgeries need two Nurses I would have thought so perhaps we'll get a new Nurse at some stage too. Wondered about Jimmi a while back when Eva's name popped up and has continued to surface every now and again. She could contact him over the sale of the house and they fly off into the disappearing world! Mmmm that's a bit far fetched in reality! lol Still, TWO new Doctors replacing just Simon?? |

I know she was a nurse but they never replaced Michelle they only replaced Lily with that slime ball Charlie, although I don't know how they are going to fit everyone in as they have trouble at the minute! |

I think the two doctors apply for one job and they can't decide so hire both on a trial (but I could be wrong!) I assume that they have a temp in to cover Michelle that is never seen or mentioned!! I hope they do bring Eva back, as much as I like Cherry I loved Eva, her and Jimmi were so perfect together, but it does look like they could be setting the path to his departure! |

That sounds feasible and I hadn't even given that suggestion a thought. UPDATE: From yesterday until lunchtime today I have finally managed to catch up with all Drs eps missed apart from 26th Feb till 12th March. Luckily there's a TV in every room I was in! Have to say watching them all back to back was far better than one episode per day. I quite enjoyed a few of them and starting off with a Claire Bennett episode was a bonus. Another fantasy Lol Fletcher this week with a bit of madness thrown in as you would expect from her. Z&D's visit to the Infertility Clinic woman - she was very good getting them to realise that no way did it mean they would definitely have a baby. Clever writing that bit. Bit of normality thrown in. So I am now up to date but today's will have to wait as I am off out in about 15 mins!   |
