Okay so I've been thinking, not all of us on here are part of twitter and those of us who are it will be fun for us too! So here it goes, in this thread you can leave any Doctors related question you want to be asked, for example it might be "Do the characters drive their real cars" i don't know its just an example or "How long do they plan ahead" different things like that, it is just a chance for everyone to get involved and all replies will be posted back on here! It is also a chance for us to get to know the information we wonder about, obviously we cannot ask questions like "Are Zaniel going to have a baby soon" as this is storylines and they cannot say to much else it spoils the plot, but anything you want to ask it is worth a try, i suppose we can kind of ask them semi-personal questions like "Who is the biggest joker on set" and "Your favourite Character". I will post anything people on or off twitter want asking or you can do it yourself, but put your question and your reply on here please! This is also a chance to get Doctors more noticed, the more active we get in knowing the show, hopefully more people will read the tweets, join this board and raise Doctors profile! So fire ahead everyone! And your questions can go to the twitter pages of: BBCDoctors Sarah the publicist Elisabeth Dermot Walsh (Dr Zara) Owen Brenman (Dr Heston) Charlie Clemmow (Immie) Nicolas Woodman (Jack) Lu Corfield (Freya Wilson) So post your question followed by who you want it to be answered by We also have people like Digital spy, and Sharon Marshall (SoapBox This Morning)

Its a great idea but we should also remember that these are busy people and not to bug them too much. Have you asked Sarah if she minds?

Thank you, i was just waiting to see if people were interested first and i am going to send a little tweet to all mentioned if they wouldn't mind. I was thinking to only do about 1 or 2 a day, like Doctors question of the day just so that they didn't feel as if we were bombarding them Oh i didn't know he was on twitter, he will be getting a follow for sure! x

The other day he said any questions tweeted over a 10 min period would be answered. Some good answers too. I asked what his biggest mistakes on set have been. One or two a day wouldn't be too bad I guess although would that be 1 or 2 questions total or per person? Because per person may be a bit excessive

Aww he seems like a lovely person, i've really warmed to him as a character! Nope just like only 1 or 2 questions from everyone, not 1 or 2 individually. It depends if they are all directed at one person then it will just be one a day, but if there is a question for EDW, Sarah and Charlie, i might just send one to all of them! Depends on how active their twitter has been and how busy they seem (if Kaine Barr does 10 mins slots, more than one or two might be posted) if you get me! Really just wanted to get Doctors talked about, more fans behind them, learn a bit more and more people onto the board also people not feeling excluded by twitter x

I think the problem with getting fans is a lot of people are busy when Docs airs and just aren't willing to record / iplayer it. Really we need an omnibus or later slot but I don't think it'll ever happen. Kaine does seem incredibly nice as do most of the cast though. I do hope we don't bug them too much as I guess they tweet us in any rare free time they have. Poor EDW mentioning a 5:40 start the other day

But also while it's less known it probably also means the actors are more likely to interact with us on Twitter because they aren't bring completely bombarded by fan tweets. I don't doubt they get a lot but it's probably a damn sight less than say an EastEnders or Corrie star.
It's a double edged sword. We love the interaction and the small family community but we also dearly want the show to be recognised for how good it really is.

I think we should do some sort of twitter petition too, like for an omnibus or a later slot, it seems to be working for a second series of candycabs and there is alot of Doctors fans on Twitter, plus cast friends and families may be willing to sign it. Yeah i know, but hopefully only one a day, keeping it varied from person to person and various topics will make them seem more open to it and feel as if it is part of a laugh! Hopefully they will feel that we value them as we want to know about them and the questions that are asked will be funny ones and stuff that is interesting not interrogation and personal ones but we will see if any reply, hopefully, fingers crossed! I know poor EDW, 5:40am would physically kill me! i always worried that in "real" life i wouldn't warm to her like we all warm to Zara, but she seems like a lovely lady and takes great lengths to keep her fans close and interact with them, i know it was a strange worry! xx

Yeah and i bet alot of Eastenders and Corrie stars never really read fully through their tweets, reply once in a blue moon and maybe get someone to do it for them, where as Doctors characters seem to care about us (look at EDW leaving a personal message of sympathy for Gina) they maybe feel because they are such a smaller soap (far better than the others in my eyes) that they appriciate their fans more, because we keep the figures up and the show going. I know i really want to keep our Doctors family small, as it is like a proper bunch of friends having a lauhg and a chat, but we do want Doctors to be recognised for how good it really is!! Maybe thats why people should use the board for everything Doctors and then we just have our small fam on Twitter! xx
