Mrs Tembe leaves this week but I'm not entirely sure whether this is a temporary or permanent exit from the show.
I know that around May, Lorna Laidlaw was directing a stage play so it could be that this is an exit to cover this.
I'm hoping that it isn't the end of Mrs T as I've really come to like her. This racism storyline has been wonderfully done and has really made the character so it would be a real shame if it was also her last.

I'm hoping it's not permanent too, as Mrs T has really grown on me. I think her recent storylines have really rounded her out as a character. She's not just a comedy act anymore.
Hopefully this holiday is just a cover so that she could do her external projects. In the DS interview, Peter Lloyd did say that there were no planned exits, which should include Mrs T.

I also hope that Mrs Tembe does not leave docs for long, i like her as a character ever since Mrs Tembe arrived at the mill. Mrs Tembe makes me laugh at times with some of the things that she says and does, i also like how she likes people to call her Mrs Tembe and not by her first name and also that she never calls the staff at the mill by their first names it is always their last names that she calls them by.

I will be broken hearted if Mrs Tembe leaves the show for good! I hated her at first but grew to love her and now she's one of my favorite characters!
On an aside, it's nice to see a show that deals with such real issues so honestly!

I really couldn't abide Mrs T at first, but I've really come to love her character and the relationship she had with little Cameron. I hope she comes back. Lorna Laidlaw was superb during those bullying scenes. Sad fact that it happens in real life.

My son loved Mrs Tembe from the start! If it's true she's coming back then it's good news all round, especially now they've really developed her character with some meaty storylines. Big thumbs up to the actress for touching all our hearts with her moving scenes!
