This felt like a very familiar story indeed. The old woman with Alzheimers. The final chance to mend a broken friendship. The man who's having to make a decision about his own health, and worrying about the person he's leaving behind.
But it was totally saved by a tender and touching performance by the wonderful Roy Hudd. Also, the travelling salesman metaphor was cleverly used. He wasn't selling brushes or magic sponges - he was offering the most precious gift of all: time. A little longer to spend with your loved ones. By the end of the episode, I was welling up...

What a good episode of Doctor's this one was, great story of the day and a nice little sprinkling of humour from the Tembe, "excuse me Sir, you are cluttering up my frontage"
