Find out what goes on behind the scenes
Andrea Green - Sarah
Andrea says she'd love to be in Sex and the City, and she hasn't seen daylight for months!
Are you anything like Sarah? Do you like her? And if you could, would you change anything about her?
I love playing Sarah, but we're not really alike. If I could change one thing it would definitely be her taste in tights!
When the show is off air for a couple of months do you still have to film or do you get a well deserved break?
A well deserved break!?
You must be joking!!! They chain us all together in one room at the end of each day - I haven't seen daylight in weeks!
How is it to come on board a soap when all the other characters are well established? Is it as daunting as it seems? Also, what did they tell you about your character?
Yes - so so daunting - very scary! You soon realise that you're part of a really friendly team. I had a brief description of Sarah, her family etc but we're given a lot of scope to bring the character to life which is very exciting.
I seem to remember seeing you somewhere before? Were you a CITV presenter? If so, how does acting compare to presenting and which do you prefer?
I knew my past would come back to haunt me! Yes I was a TV presenter but acting has always been my first love - that and cake!
Is this your first stint at acting? If not, what other shows, plays etc have you done?
Are you saying you're not aware of my work!? Surely you must have caught my three lines in EastEnders...
If you could choose any other TV show to star in, which one would you choose and why?
Sex and the City, Holby City, in fact anything with the word 'city' in it!
If you could choose any actor or actress from anywhere in the world to work with you, who would it be and why?
Everyone I'm working with now - oh and Anthony Hopkins, Al Pachino, Johnny Depp and Susan Sarandon - that would be nice too!
Your Birmingham accent is so authentic, can you do other accents? How do you really talk?
Thank you! I don't talk like Sarah but I grew up in the Midlands so know a lot of people who do. I love experimenting with different accents.
What was your first day on the set like? And who out of the main cast do you most get along with?
My first day on set was extremely nerve-racking but everybody made me feel really welcome. The cast and crew are all beautiful - I love them all! I share my flat with Ben Jones who plays Greg so I suppose I've got to say him or there'll be no tea for me tonight!
How did you get the part in Doctors and do you get recognised in the street?
I attended several auditions for the part of Sarah, and as I said, I haven't seen daylight for months so don't get out to get recognised!
Who do you think is the most fanciable doctor?
Again, I have to say my flatmate Ben Jones or a I won't get any pudding either!
No mention of being married..but perhaps that was quite recent..I was quite suprised when she said it was her wedding dress
