i see.
well, for me it's sad to lose a character i like no matter what the reason for leaving is.
i didn't even see jude leaving as i was on a break from docs, and when i returned neither jude nor kate were there and i was very upset by that.
characters i don't like i can live without easily. don't miss ben, marc, ollie, david, carolina, nathan and (forgive me kat) tasha. btw: i never liked jack and ria as well (and before daisy kills me: MJ is a fab actress, it's ria that i couldn't stand!)
anyway, we'll have to wait and see who goes....and i still hope it isn't helen....

I'm trying to think of a diplomatic response.
i guess i already knew Jude was going so her leaving didn't affect me so much. Tasha's 'leaving' did annoy the heck out of me because she in all fairness really didn't have an ending. still leaves a chance of a comeback.
that isn't my diplomatic response I'm still trying to come up with that

sure. but i'm not sure if it would mean Amanda anyway as she isn't a main character just reacurring. but the spoilers do indicated that Jimmi will be going.

I know she isn't, and as nice as Jimmi is becoming, I wouldn't really mind him leaving.

if it is Jimmi poor Adrian who plays him, he hasn't been in much recently apart from strangely enough an episode of Doctors has a patient. i do love listening to Adrian, he varying welshness rocks! and he's cute although his picture on the beggining credits freaks me out
