I happened to watch an old episode on UK Gold the other day. It was about a father pressuring his son to carry on with his running but the boy really wanted to be a hairdresser. George helped the boy to tell his Dad. Now, I'm not sure but I thought the Dad looked remarkably like Dr. Mike who spirited Kate away to Ireland. Didn't get to see names at the end of the episode. Can anyone tell me if it was him? And isn't today's episode a little similar!!

never mind that last question.
if the dad in the episode was Eric Fuller and the doc is Dr Mike Miles then it's the same bloke

can't help you. it wasn't this week, right? i've seen all this week's epis in uktv gold, bbc and the irish tv..... ;D     ....who says i have only one thing in my head.... anyway, i missed that one and i also missed the season with this doc too. it was on irish tv the last month or a bit before - sometime between this visit and the previous one so i wouldn't know anyway.... sorry. love xxx i |

Yes I'm pretty sure he was called Eric but not sure of surname. Thanks Katrina. It was really bugging me. Must say i get annoyed when series do this. There are so many actors out there so why use the same one in two parts. Do they think we don't notice! Can't remember how many times The Bill has had a villain turn into a copper after a couple of months!!

yes but atleast we haven't had a dead patient come back as a doc, or have we? or a dead doc coming back as a patient
