I live in the US, and am a fan of Emma Samms, who has been playing Amanda Clay, Jimmi's wife. I was jut wondering if she was still going to be on it, or if she just finished airing in December? Also if anyone has recorded any of her on Doctors from October, I'd love to see it. Thanks!  Danielle |

hi Danielle as far as we know, Emma has finished her role in Doctors. but you can have a look in the interview with her here: doctorsfiction.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=drchat&action=display&thread=1131814218also, her appearances were mentioned in the spoilers we posted. have a look at the spoilers' section for any spoilers between October and December. i haven't seen any of the latest epis with her, (in Israel she has just appeared this Tuesday, in the very famous party scene) so i can't tell you if she sounded like she was really leaving, but i clearly remember reading that Jimmi was staying and Amanda leaving. (anybody please correct me here if i'm wrong.) as for the taping you've asked: our forum is obliged not to offer recordings of any sort in order to avoid copyright violation, see here: doctorsfiction.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1131999101so you have two options: 1. ask for Emma's screencaps (if anybody can make them for you, i can't...sorry).... 2. register as a member and then you could be in touch personally with any other member you like, and ask privately what we are not allowed to offer you publicly. maybe someone will even contact you first, but i doubt it. most people here tape only for watching later and then erase the tape for re-recording. good luck anyway! love xx i |

Iris is correcting in saying that Amanda (Emma Samms) has left the show.
her final appearance (if i remember correctly) was in the episode 'In Her Own Shoes' which aired 9th December.
I'm also 99% certain that in a later episode Jimmi said that Amanda had gone off to California

i've just checked back - Jimmi said Amanda has gone to California in the episode 'Tough Love' which aired 15th December

Great, thanks for the information, by reading the episode guides I figured that the 9th was her last appearance. As for obtaining episodes, I completely understand, I have her appearances from Nov/Dec, but just didn't have any from Oct. Thanks so much! Danielle |
