UKGold have stopped showing Doctors (for now at least). Their last episode was shown yesterday when it was Jude's last ep and the Haven fun run (which Marc won), so they got to about March 2004.
Does anyone know if it will be coming back and who I can e-mail at UKTV, to ask about the show.

first of all welcome to the board Intervention.
Ukgold appears to be showing an episode on Friday 26th May at 2:20am but other than that they seem to have no listing for episodes.
I presume that they'll will continue to show episodes. There might be some sort of rule about the time between an episodes original airing on BBC and them being able to show it. but i'm can't be to sure on this.

I've had a look and it seems that episode they're showing is the first ep of Series 2 (they showed all of the 1st series at around 4am most days earlier in the year). Hopefully they'll show some more of the early eps. |

Thanks a lot for contacting them, Katrina, and for letting us know their reply. ;D I'm suprised to hear they need to negotiate with the BBC over eps - I thought UKGold was partly owned by the BBC?  Maybe a short break would be good, as after they showed past the 2004 summer break, they would have been less than 2 years behind the current eps. Thanks again! |

It's good to see it back in it's 7.50am slot - something worth watching in the mornings! ;D Nice to see the early episodes again, but does anyone know when Faith comes into the show? I know she is the longest serving character now, but how long will it be till we see her on the UKGold episodes?

She joined in 2001, which I would've thought would be series 3 or 4, so I'd guess at a few months

Thanks Katrina.  I like Ruth as well, but prefer Faith tbh, so I'm looking forward to seeing her first episodes again. |
