It will air Wednesday 20th of September 2:00 - 3:00 and here's the info from the BBC press office
Running Time
Richard Briers, Susie Amy and Paula Wilcox guest star in the 1,000th episode of the award-winning daytime drama.
An explosive car crash opens the action. The drama then rewinds an hour and the 60-minute special plays out in "real" time, culminating in the dramatic revelation of the identity of the crash victim.
The first patient through the Mill Health Centre doors is a builder whose anger is ruining his life. Following a dispute with the surgery staff, he lashes out and hits another patient, Megan, a former model. Megan storms out of the surgery but suffers an asthma attack in the car park.
Meanwhile, Dr Joe Fenton has an appointment with a teacher recently diagnosed with cancer, who must decide whether to accept treatment or lose her power of speech, and practice manager Julia Maguire is on the trail of a mystery man suffering from amnesia who collapses in the surgery.
Elsewhere, Dr Nick West visits Jack Davis, an elderly gentleman in a care home who is convinced that he is being haunted. Back at the surgery, a young woman set to travel the world with her boyfriend faces a dilemma when she discovers that she is pregnant.
The pressure in the surgery mounts when Dr George Woodson rushes off early to pick up her daughter. With the arrival of annoying health service manager Selena McKinnon, the staff are pushed to their limits.
As the story unfolds, the doctors' seemingly disparate days come together in a compelling life-and-death climax.
Megan Reeves is played by Susie Amy, Dr Joe Fenton by Stephen Boxer, Dr Nick West by Michael McKell, Jack Davis by Richard Briers, Dr George Woodson by Stirling Gallagher and Selena McKinnon by Paula Wilcox.
wow this episode looks brilliant, I really want to know who the victim is though. the real-time thing looks good to, i'll be paying close attention to any clocks seen in the episode
