I'm not making this up, it was in the newspapers a couple of weeks ago. I laughed and nodded when I read it. What surprised me was the ranking of some traits. ;D What do you think ? Is it accurate ?

This is hilarious LP, thanks for posting it. Some of them would never apply to me, in whatever order (5,6,12,13,14,16,17,19,23,25,27,32,35,37,39,40), some I will admit to........1,2,3,18 (loose leaf tea if possible, darjeeling or assam) 20 (I loathe dancing, always have) 26,30,36. As for 15 - I adore complaining, expecially on the telephone, where I can be incredibly polite yet sarcastic if need be. And 7 - curtain twitching - well, I run a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme, so admit to peeping outside a lot if I hear cars on our quite road, but only out of a sense of duty (honest). I've spotted and reported three crimes by curtain twitching, all during the night. And with the recession & credit crunch, I suspect a lot fewer people will be quite so obsessed with property prices. I have no idea what our house is worth, it's our home, not an investment & it's value would only affect me if we wanted to sell it & buy another one. What would the equivalent French traits be, LP?

What would the equivalent French traits be, LP? Err... I can't think of anything, really. You've given me an idea: tell me all what you think the French traits are in the new thread.

As for me:
1. No, I don't like to dwell on the weather.
2. I behave myself when I'm in a queue, I don't try and push in or anything but I don't really like waiting in queues.
3. I guess I do that sometimes.
4. Not really, the only soap I'm really interested in is Doctors. I used to watch Neighbours, I occasionally watch Eastenders.
5. I can honestly say no, that doesn't apply to me. I'm not a big drinker, give me a J20 any day.
6. Yes, thats me.
7. Yes, I'll admit to being nosy.
8. Don't know, I'm actually not completely sure what that means.
9. No, definetly not all television. I like certain programmes and those I tend to stick to. However I do love comedy especially classic comedy and will give pretty much any comedy program a go. Old or new.
10. Yeah, I do like to moan, lol.
11. Well I'm not exactly obsessed with class, obsessed would be the wrong word but I am aware of class. I think thats the right way of putting it.
12. No, lol, I don't do that.
13. Well I don't drive yet so no. I guess it will probably be different when I do drive though.
14.Sometimes, depends who the person is and how serious the misfortune is. That sounds horrible lol. But I mean like if its a family member I don't enjoy their misfortunes. Why am I trying to justify this?
15. Yes, in certain situations.
16. No, I don't really go on foreign holidays, although if I did then yeah they'd probably be cheap.
17. Haha, when I find a job I'll see. When I do that will probably happen though.
18. I do like a cup of tea, lol. But I don't drink it to ease worries, in fact I very rarely drink it at home. So no, not me.
19. Yeah, yum. But I'd have more than two veg if they were offered to me.
20. Yep. Thats me 100%. I hate dancing.
21. Yes, I think thats me.
22. Lol, I don't think thats true of me. I think I have a good sense of humour and I have a bit of a weird one sometimes but clever? No. I like to think I have a clever sense of humour though.
23. No, not really.
24. No, absolutely no way. I hate political correctness. In my opinion its stupid.
25. Again, I don't drive. So at the moment, no. But I hope I won't have road rage when I do learn to drive.
26. Well personally I'm happy with my weight but I know alot of people are obsesed with their weight and they really shouldn't be.
27. Nah, I can't be bothered with all that.
28. Yeah thats me. I'm proud of my town and of being British in general.
29. I don't know really, sometimes I say what I mean, sometimes I don't. Depends on the situation really and the people I'm with at the time.
30. Yes, I can laugh at myself.
31. I don't have a car and can't remember the last time I helped my dad wash his. He doesn't wash his manually very often. So I have to say no to that one.
32. Yes I do that, hehe.
33. Yes, thats true as well.
34. As I don't have children, I can't really comment on how other people bring up theirs.
35. No, I don't think I'm jealous of wealth and success, I'm happy as I am.
36. Not really.
37. Well for me texting instead of calling isn't true. I call more often than I text. However, for arranging things with friends I message them on the internet and through emails more than I phone them. So I don't know whether thats really the same thing or not.
38. Thats fairly true, I don't express my emotions very often. I can do it but I don't tend to do it a lot.
39. No, I'm not particularly crazy about the Royal Family. I don't dislike them but I'm not that bothered with them.
40. I don't mow our lawn, lol. It gets mowed but not by me.
So there you go (this took me ages to type by the way ;D) However thats just me personally, obviously it can be different for other people.
Like for example I know a lot of other British people are crazy about soaps, do like talking about the weather and are unhappy with their weight. But none of thats me.
I also know alot of people who are perfectly comfortable on a dance floor, for me its more like my idea of hell.
