New board structure

Hi everyone!

This message board is a little more than half a year old, so we thought it was time for some rearranging.

Here are the most important changes we've made.

- the new members section was assimilated into the general chat section.
- the film and games chat section was deleted. films can be discussed in the television and film chat. if we haven't mentioned games for the last half a year, we probably won't do so in the future.
- a separate section for spoilers was created. spoilers should be posted there. if you have a post about a future event and you're not too sure if it's considered a spoiler or not - it's better to post it there to be on the safe side.
- a separate section for fanfiction feedback was created, all feedback was moved to this section. please post feedback. it's important for the writers.
- a new and updated set of rules was posted in the fanfiction section - please take your time to read them just for once even if you are not a fanfic writer (yet... ). it applies to the readers as well as the writers.
- the news section at the top of the board will change to give reminders of events and other changes, take notice of it.
- some colours were changed to better suit sore eyes... we hope it makes the board clearer.


all these changes were based on the way this board has functioned up till now. if you see any other changes that you think should be made, or you don't like any of the changes we've made, or even if you just want to say you like it - Kat and i would really like to know what you think. please reply here with your opinions.

Really like the new structure. Much neater and easier to read (found the colours a bit hard on my old eyes!). Well done Kat and iris. Let's hope it will encourage more people to join us and particularly to write fics!!

The colour is the same for me...sort of slate grey with black & gold edging...what is it for others then & can I change it somewhere...must go & check my profile.

we didn't change the colour of the board, daisy. we changed the colour of the sections headlines. it used to be blue which looked a little too similar to the dark gray it was printed on. wasn't too much of a contrast, and the writing wasn't clear, so we changed it to white.
the gray and gold are the basic colours of the board and we like them... we changed only the unclear stuff...
