I religiously read the thread, however, I tend to watch all the episodes on iplayer at the weekend as I'm never around when they air. It just seems a bit late to comment on the threads after three or four days.
I also think that there are certain plots that provoke a really strong reaction form the viewer, i.e. feeling compelled to discuss isuues/acting etc on the thread and recently the show just seems to be gently continuing rather than there being any hard hitting storylines. However, I suspect from what I've read on the thread Julia's upcoming storyline will be one of these such storylines!

I've been very busy at home (making jam/chutney/decorating) & have missed lots of episodes, though I usually read the forum threads to try to catch up - I forget to login, which is why I won't show up very often. I'm here in spirit. Honest.

Hello again everyone. I too haven't been on for a while.
I do still love Doctors though but have been out of the UK for some time and unfortunately missed a lot of episodes. I've been reading a lot of the previous comments and agree about posting - say like this week I've seen most episodes but only on iplayer and usually not when they are broadcast. I always think of things I'd like to mention/comment on but don't get the chance at the right time. I will try and make an effort to post more and do still enjoy the site. It is so friendly and I love talking about Doctors.

It is unfortunate that most of the really engaging characters have left - George and Ronnie and Nick being the ones that come immediatley to mind. It's a shame that Lily left as her relationship with Heston was interesting. We'll have to see how the new Doctor does but I do have a problem with the actress playing her! Not an actress I particularly like! At this rate I'll stop watching as well and that comes from someone who's been there since the beginning. I'd still like to see more of the new people on the board posting though. Ah about the new actress , I'm the same. I didn't like Amanda in Casualty. If I don't like a character in a show I never like them playing anything else. It's not the actor I don't like really. |

Hello BD Peter Lloyd said back around May time that concerning Charlie things will get very dark. This episode didn't tell you what he'd done but allowed your imagination to run and realise what he had been doing before The Mill. This was the start of being very dark when we saw the photo's and it wasn't what I was expecting at all. The revelations of what his is like is going to be sickening. Is that enough for you??? He also said something would happen between Julia and Daniel in September. So should be an excellent few episodes coming up! Good to see you back on here regularly btw  |
