anyone watched this?? lol it is simply amazing!! i love the royal and i think the royal today is even better than casualty and holby and it is both of them in one and the operations seem alot more inventive than holby city which are the same every single week - today they were doing some sort of elbow reconstruction ( not 100% only got home half way through) but yeah the sorylines are brilliant so far.. but we are only 5 episodes in so i won't hold my breath!
and the way the main doctors with black hair has the same name as the married doctors in the royal...guess he must be their son/grandson.
this week's tv has been awesome

He was born at the end of the series before the last, if that makes any sense. As a baby he was seen a few times during the most recent series. I haven't really watched it yet.

I am liking this a lot more now. The only problem is remembering to record it !!
There seem to be a few wards named after old characters
From Wikipedia, so may not be deadly accurate. ;D
Middleditch Ward Named After Mr. T.J Middleditch Mr. Middleditch was the Hospital's Secretary in the 60s.
Goodwin Ward Named After Dr. Jeff Goodwin Dr. Goodwin was a practice G.P in the 60s before serving in Biafra - Goodwin Ward is currently being redecorated.
Cheriton Ward Named After Dr. David Cheriton Dr. Cheriton was a practice G.P in the 60s who died during a Rugby match.
Special care baby unit / Weatherill Ward Named After Dr. Jill Weatherill Jill campaigned to open this ward in the late 1960s.
Rose Ward Named After Mr. Rose Mr. Rose was the visiting consultant general surgeon to The Royal in the 60s
I am looking forward to seeing Leah Bracknell, her first proper appearance is next week
