I have a found a website with spoilers for all of november not sure how reliable it is but just thought I'd let you Ruth is mentioned throughout so if she is leaving it won't be until december!

Ruth leaves 17th December which is the last episode before Christmas.

I also have a suspicion that Simon may also be leaving.

Why are you suspicious Kat? I think he'd be a great loss to the programme as will Ruth.

Because he has a storyline coming up with nakes him emotionally unstable. In December there is an ep where unable to cope with reality he slips in to a James Bond fantasy world with all of the characters playing Bond type characters. I have a feeling this storyline will result in him finding himself unable to cope as a doctor.

Plus Heston counsel both Ruth and Simon about the future just before Ruth leaves, their appears to be a shock return related to Simon towards Christmas (I'm thinking Will the paramedic) and he is absent from Ruth's leaving party - and it seems to me Simon would slip away quietly.

Such a shame that Ruth has left as I think she is an incredible actress and asset to Doctors. She's had some tremendous storylines too.

As for Simon leaving - the best of luck to him if he has.

Can't comment on the last 7 episodes of Docs as I haven't seen them. Just managed to catch up with two today but hopefully will catch up with the rest in the next few days or so .

I think it is Shame that Ruth is leaving Doctors & i will also miss her. I think that Ruth became such a good character during her time with Doctors, she also had some good story lines too.

I will also miss Simon if he goes because i also came to like him to but i wish them luck in what ever they do next

Just a thought but wasn't Simon mentioned in the 2000th episode which isn't due to air until next February or thereabouts ?? If so he isn't leaving .
