A new series of Land Girls starts on Monday, 2.15pm, after Doctors. For those of you who haven't seen it before and don't know about it, it's made by the Doctors crew although it doesn't use the actors. The last series was excellent so I am really looking forward to this and have it ready to be Sky+ already  . |

Ooh, brilliant! I adored the first series of Land Girls, though it had a horrific lack of promotion... seems like it has this time around, too. It's really unfortunate that the BBC are disregarding it in this fashion; it's a great little series. Daytime drama at the BBC is really on the up ;D

Land Girls  Okay, okay. It's about the movement that operated during the World Wars called the Womens' Land Army which worked in agriculture, replacing the men who had gone off to fight. Series 1 followed the lives of four such land girls as they came to work on a farm... drama/babies/marriage ensued  |

It's only on for a week tho isn't it? I liked the last series, & hope this one is as good. I adore the clothes from that period too.

What another wonderful series of The Land Girls. I think they've found another star in Selin Hizli who played Connie Carter and of course the piglet! Everything was superb. Absolutely loved it! Well Done to everyone! |
