My accent is pretty much the same as EDW's... not as fun as you may think, even in a private school I get teased about being a 'toff' (though am far from it, promise.) Anyway, there are a multitude of 'Black Country' accents, just like there are 'English' ones. I thought Jan's was to her credit actually, I live in the West Midlands and so from time to time I come across Brummies and the like. At least she's not gone overboard, some actors go way over the top attempting to be Brummie and it's awful. I do have to say that Charlie Clemmow's is brilliant though. In real life she talks like me - with an RP accent - and I was really surprised to find that out, she sounds like a natural! I am actually jealous, i wouldnt even mind if i was labled a "toff" It would be better than having this rediculous geordie accent, although mines not as strong as it used to be, thank god! Wow, really supprised about Charlie Clemmow's accent!! ;D

I Cant work out what sort of accent i have, i sound pretty boring in my opinion. I would love to have EDW's accent my accent is odd, it sounds lifeless sometimes then it goes a bit northern at the end of a sentence for some reason, arggh i hate it

Looks like we all have the common ground of not just Doctors but disliking our accents !! Okay, from this day forward I'm working at loosing the Geordie accent and pronouncing words properly, and not using words such as "Hinny" "W'aye" "Canny" "Bonny" or any other words people associate with Geordie's! x

I just didn't want to make you guys jealous is all... in reality I adore my accent *strokes accent* Bet they're not all that bad, though. Most of my friends speak like me so when we meet someone with an accent that's remotely different it's hugely exciting xD I love Geordie accents! Granted I can't understand the stronger ones (phonecalls with my Geordie friend are hugely entertaining) but to an outsider trust me, they do sound fun

The mind of a woman, it works in mysterious ways!

The mind of a woman, it works in mysterious ways! Paha, that sounds familiar. "Muuuuuum, please can I give up the clarinet? I really want to play the flute! I promise I'll practise every day..." [About a year down the line] "Please let me change to piano. I want to learn the piano, there's way more sheet music for the piano than the flute!" "Emma, I bought you Harry Potter sheet music last week." "I know, but Muuuuuuum..." [Few months down the line] "I want to play flute again." "If you change, this'll be the last time." "Yeah, okay, I don't mind." [Another couple of months] "Muuuuuuuuuuuum..." "Absolutely not." And that was when I was seven Been playing the flute ever since :L Indecisiveness is one of my MANY flaws.
