today i expected a new theme song
'its a story of a doc named Helen
who was working with four very lovely women
All of them had steposcopes
apart from Sarah
the youngest of the group
It's a story of a man named Mac
who was working with three men of his own
they were born and working all together
yet they were all aline
till the one day when this lady met this fellow
and they knew there was much more than a hunch
now this group must somehow form a surgery
thats the way we all became the doctors bunch

also i was very dissapointed, there was a George mention but no George that sucks

i think it was a good epi of all aspects: directing, script- both patient and docs' personal lives and even acting. the bimbo jimmi was dating was brilliant and such a great match to him. how couldn't sarah see it? wonder how long it would last.
apart from that - would be interesting to see mac re-facing his drinking problems and to see helen managing to avoid jimmi's charms... ermmmm, not too much chance for both.

Missed the last 10 mins or so. I thought it was pretty good up to the point my sister phoned for a chat!!
Take it that it was the homeless man's son who turned up to see him. One question - did Mac tell Marcia he is an alcoholic?

1. the man was indeed the homeless's son and they got their intimate time together when greg left them to clear past hurtings after admitting he was responsible for locating the guy.
2. no, mac couldn't tell marcia. it seemed like he tried but just couldn't. but he did try to make her see that she was one. it didn't work and she left the table upset. he just told her he knew how it was, but she wasn't listening. the next sequence of this storyline showed mac looking inside all the storage places in marcia's room and of course he found many bottles, most of them empty, but one (i believe it was whisky) with a lot in it. he sat on the bed, looked at the bottle turning it in his hands for quite some time, opened it, sniffed its content and then, when he put it near his mouth the credits came and the episode ended....
just one question: couldn't you tell your sister to call later??..... i can be quite impossible to talk to if someone calls me when i watch docs. everybody around me has already learnt to avoid calling at certain times.... but i guess you are much more polite than i am....

I never put any TV programme before friends or family. If I'm desperate to know what's happening I will sometimes put the subtitles on but that is rare.

that was below the belt.....
ermmmmm, now i know why i don't have any friends or family.....
btw: i don't see it as being desperate, i see it as the programme is NOW (if i tape i never have time to watch) and people who care for me know me well enough to be considerate enough to call later, that's it. (today, for example, wife called at 2:15 and hung up before i managed to answer cause she remembered! that's what i call a partner!... and she's even starting to ask question about the show, saying she'd watch if it weren't while she's at work). but i guess not everyone see it like i do.

ah the problem of phonecalls during Doctors, usually i'll put the subtitles on (which are usually wrong ;D). or if it's someone i don't really want to talk to, i'll partly listen to them and partly to the TV (usually more to the TV).
Also yesterday i thought Corrinne's hair was different today it was her eyes i thought were different. also where's Lil Ciaran gone?
