"The Soap celebrates it's 2,000th episode this week, with guest star Simon Shepherd and Ian Lavender joining the panic when a 'code blue' emergency is declared at the Mill and the Surgery is thrown into lockdown after a woman collapses with a suspected deadly airborne virus.
With the staff and several patients all in quarantine , tensions mount. And when a stressed Karen sees a group of men in biohazard suits, she panics and flees through the fire exit - only to be brought down by a taser gun!
Meanwhile, at the campus surgery, Simon discovers what's going on and goes to see a virologist he knows at the university, he eventually admits he knows more than he's letting on and about the crisis and names the carrier. With Cherry having already fallen victim to the virus, Simon desperately contacts Jimmi to fill him in on what he knows - but will he get the medication to her time?"
