I do miss Lily. I loved her relationship with Heston and I'd have been interested to see her relationship with Sapphire develop further.

There was so much they could have done with that story, shame they used it as her departure!!

I felt really sad when she left (sad, I know), but they never mentioned Lily actually leaving, because Lily said
"I am taking [glow=red,2,300]some [/glow]time off work"
Not 'I am leaving for good with no explanation.' I agree, I think they could have gone alot further with that story!

I did keep my hopes up long after she had gone but I read an interview that she left because it was difficult to keep travelling back and forth from London to Birmingham.

I think the reason a lot thought so was coming back, at least on here was my fault in many ways.

At the time she left the BBCDoctors twitter which we now know wasnt actually anything to do with the BBC tweeted something about how she would be back and that it was a temp exit. As I believed them genuine at the time I also believed this to be true. Although I know see how unlikely it is that they would publicly tweet a spoiler like that.
