Oh I'm loving the fake romance between Rob and DI Driver. He would certainly find life a lot quieter if he did decide to suddenly change horses. But no - surely not? Though that moment when he revealed the family photo (with Karen's face replaced by Driver's) brought an evil grin to my face. That would take an awful lot of explaining if it fell into the wrong hands...
I thought the poppy story was fun too. Even though I'm inclined to agree with Heston that it's better to make a private donation than to make a big thing of it, I love it when Mrs Tembe gets on her high horse.
I have to confess I lost interest in the story about the young mum and the feckless boyfriend etc. Although I'm glad it wasn't too shouty. I'm still recovering from yesterday's episode...

Oh I SO hope they have a mad, raging affair! On Rob's side, he'll fight it (hopefully) and will suffer pain and torment. He'll be the one who finishes it after a lot of heartache. That Driver woman who has suddenly and unbelievably developed a softer side will be DEVASTATED!
Then I'll like Rob a lot more and Karen more than I already do now.

I don't know what I think of the DI driver and Rob storyline! It seems like driver is becoming alittle obsesses with rob and wanting it to be real between them, I had a wierd feeling when she said `now all we need Ís a baby of our own' and does anyone else think karen is being wierd again with getting cold and then hot and going home sick? Most be the menopause this time ha!
I liked the guest storyline, was quite moving!

The DI Driver episode would be more interesting IF rob had a problem with karen, but apart from her missing jack and immie (aren't we all!), there IS no problem. As for the other storyline...another consigned to the 'quickly forgotten' file, though a decent outcome at least. 5 out of ten.
