Well this is just the sort of 'Doctors' episode I really enjoy - a funny, and clever little morality tale, which says a bit about contemporary life without being too preachy. I'm sick to the back teeth of texts and phone calls from people asking me if I've had an accident which wasn't my fault....so I appreciated the story of the ambulance chaser who was so busy pursuing Valerie to get her to put in a claim that he ended up in a road accident himself, but then ended up taking revenge on the rather nasty company that employed him. I enjoyed it all the more because I have a soft spot for Valerie, and will miss her when she goes...
And the scene where Mrs Tembe and Heston have a slanging match over health and safety issues was a comedy classic. Oh Mrs Tembe, what's happened to you? You used to be Heston's rock, always offering him words of comfort and cups of red bush...have you suddenly switched alleigances to Howard???

I found this episode so annoying. Mrs Tembe pulled rank on Heston Carter who is her boss and who pays her wages/salary and who is one of the main owners of the practice. In any kind of reality, Mrs Tembe would have been fired on the spot for her insubordination. It was many steps too far. We all know soaps are about pushing the envelope further than we would do in normal life but this pushed the envelope over several edges. If Heston had upbraided her, it might have rescued the episode but he didn't so it makes one wonder if La Tembe is the boss.
