I have to confess I hated this episode - it felt like watching politically correct paint dry, as Kevin goes and explores the Asian part of his identity. I didn't think there was anything particularly wrong with it, and I like Kevin as a character, and can see why the sudden reappearance of his half-sister is making him think about a path in life that he didn't go on. I just think they didn't particularly find a gripping story to tell about it.
I thought the image of all the shoes at the entrance to the Muslim community centre was cleverly shot, with the sound of afternoon prayers in the background. But like Kevin himself, I felt as if I was on the outside, and not really a part of it...
