I haven't commented on 'Doctors' for a while, partly because I've been busy, partly because I got fed up with Mandy's farmyard adventures! No offence to the actress concerned, but it's awfully hard to play a scene with a chicken, and I couldn't believe how long they strung that particular storyline out. But hooray! It's all over, and we're back to the Letherbridge equivalent of normal.
Really enjoyed this episode, and it was great to see Jeff Rawle, who will always be the hapless George in 'Drop the Dead Donkey' to me. And yes, I, like his friend, was convinced he was having gender realignment surgery...partly because that always seems terribly common in Letherbridge. But, no, he was just keeping a serious medical condition secret because he didn't want pity. And what a gorgeous musical finale - Jeff Rawle can actually sing. And Jas looks fantastic with big hair...

I'll admit I haven't properly watched this episode yet but I was amused to see it was written by Bo Poraj who was in the most recent series of Miranda. I didn't realise he wrote for Doctors.
