what a stupid toryline with Daniel was it meant to add light relief to the heavy stuff with Chris and Emma , if so it didn't work!.
Chris is proving to be quite a spoiled child isn't he? (I know he has just lost his father) I'm sorry but I am finding this story is too much every day . (and I think Chris is the one who 'helped')

Well I really enjoyed the Daniel story! It made me laugh!
But I agree about Chris though! If he did 'help' (which I think he did) his dad than he has no right taking the moral high ground with Emma, yes she did wrong but she hasn't committed murder!
Also happy for Mrs. Tembe!

For the first half of the episode, I was thinking: oh, this is just too silly. If you can get your hand through the phone box door, just get rid of the sand - one handful at a time, if necessary. But by the end, I'd been won over by its charm, and Daniel's impeccable comic timing. The Irish girl who always goes to that phone box to take a call from her mother was particularly sweet. And when Daniel attempted to have a pee just as the woman from the PCT arrived, I laughed out loud. It was a very silly episode but, for me personally, it was just what we need in the middle of a very dark storyline.
And I agree it looks more and more likely that Chris did it. Which is very sad, as I quite like the character and will be sorry to lose him. Though, um, has anyone spoken to the mysterious Martha? Referred to in almost every episode with Sam in it, but never actually seen? I definitely think someone needs to talk to her...

(and I think Chris is the one who 'helped') I record Doctors so can fast forward through the annoying bits. The Daniel story was so stupid that it wasn't even funny. The only bit that had me laughing was when he ran to the loo and his relief at getting there. The getting locked in there too was just slap stick and not worthy of Doctors. I agree with you about Chris behaving liked a spoiled child. He has been like this a lot of time since he came to the soap. Despite his Dad asking him to be nice to his Mum and respect her, Chris still behaves like a truculent 4 year old. Yeah, his Dad has just died and it is a most painful time but only a self absorbed person would go to the lengths of self pity that Chris is going. I lost both my parents within 8 months of each other and had to deal with life and not throw all my toys out of the pram.
